Business Profile

Drone based - Aerial Surveying, Mapping, Inspections & 3D Modelling Airis Industries Ltd (Airis) provides aerial data capture, data processing and rogue drone detection services in Scotland. Based in Edinburgh, Airis utilises the extensive experience its directors with backgrounds in aerospace, defence, systems engineering and data analytics.

For data capture we use drones or unmanned aerial systems (UAS), to acquire client-specific information via a multitude of sensors and/or payloads. This data is then analysed and processed by Airis specialist to provide our clients with centimetre level accurate 3D models and point clouds.

Our processing partners provide Airis with cloud-based, enterprise-grade analytics and processing systems. Using these systems Airis produces numerous outputs from 3D point clouds to digital elevation models (DEM). Our clients can then use these models to capture details measurements and environmental conditions to aid in their internal decision-making processes.
Using this method of data capture and processing grants our clients with several benefits;

• Reduces risk to client personnel.
• Improves data acquisition timeframes.
• Aid fast decision making.
• Provides accurate data direct from processing.

Airis also drives to improve the safety of all air users. As such Airis will be providing drone detection services to public events and to local law enforcement. The drone detection solution Airis uses are made by the global leader in drone technology, DJI. Using this detection capability Airis can identify rogue drones operating in controlled airspace or over open-air assemblies without permission. On detection of rogue UASs, Airis would inform the local authorities to investigate, thus improving the safety of everyone below the rogue Drone.
