Lothiansound Talking Newspaper - free weekly service to blind and partially sighted people Lothiansound is a Talking Newspaper, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is a registered Scottish Charity Number SC002810, founded in 1988, run entirely by volunteers and supplied free.

Lothiansound produces a weekly recording of local news and events read mostly from the Edinburgh Evening News. This includes notices from like-minded organisations and a Scottish quiz. Also, a monthly recording of articles from the Scots Magazine. All circulated on memory sticks/CDs.
